Know why hip hop is better than country?

Because it has a beat that country music doesn't. Hip Hop is the better genre. Its the truth. Hip Hop out passed country in a resent servey. Hey tell CMT and GMA channels to get with the program. Country is not in anymore. Hip Hop is the winner. Even white peole love hip hop, not there own genre which is country. What does that tell you?

Know why hip hop is better than country?
Ummm... I listen to everything, and I mean EVERYTHING. Country music is doing just fine in sales, and stations. Did you ever thing that stats can percieve ANYTHING a person wants them to? How about you stop trashing other types of music, and listen to some of it... You may just find that you like it.

Reply:Can anyone tell me why both of those genres are fairly awful? Especially hip-hop. Country isn't the worst but the songs are always based on the same theme, love. How boring does that get? Very. Besides the vast majority of country singers sound awful in concert which proves they aren't really that talented. Who cares if no one is following a trend, some people like to go by their own thoughts and beliefs. It's called independence. I suggest Classic rock and indie music, they're by far the better choice.

if hip hop is more popular than country, then why are there more country radio stations than hip hop??


the whole point of country music is to tell stories about real life. nothing in the lyrics of a hiphop song testify to real life, it's all about sex drugs and violence! when was the last time you heard a rap/hiphop song talk about real feelings that didn't have to do with sex drugs or violence?

Country *used to be* good until the late 1970s. Hip hop *used to be* good until the early-mid 1990s. Almost everything since in both genres is commercial crap that isn't worth the time of day.
