Hip hop BABY ?

Every time my baby is cring if i put some hip hop music he just stop crying, its something very curios that i wanted share to all you, do you believe that is because when i was pregnant i used to listen that music at home and in the car (because my brother is a big fan), do you think that the babies remember what they used to listen meanwhile they was inside mom?.... do you think im crazy for believe that my baby really loves hip hop music (i tried whit other gener o music like rock, soft, clasic but nothing is work but hip hop)

It seems likely that babies have a deeply rooted memory of music that made you happy or comfortable while you were pregnant. The baby feels your emotions to an extent.





This is why I make sure to only listen to good music... I don't want my boy having positive memories of really crappy music.
Reply:That very well may be. babies remember mom and dads voices, why not a particular rythm of music? My second born, now 20 months, reacted similarly when we played Ozzy.
Reply:No not at all my kids love techno, with a hard bass line, it will either put them to sleep or make them dance, my youngest just started dancing to it. So yeah, it's the same thing as what your baby likes only techno doesn't have words.
Reply:my daughter use to do that w/ country (I found out by mistake while flipping threw the music channels) Funny how they find music soothing. My son will stop whatever he is doing if he even hears a nifty little jingle on the TV/radio. Kids are so cute.
Reply:i use to sing norah jones when i was pregnnat all the time andd now my son loves it when i sing it to him to sleep
Reply:I think it is a combination of what he remembers plus almost all babies like repetition of sound and movement. That's why they like being rocked, patted, etc. Hip hop has a strong beat which your baby probably enjoys and it comforts him.





When he's a little older, he can watch Hip Hop Harry -- it's like Barney but with a little better music. The kids are still sappy though. Happy New Year!
Reply:My son liked hip hop too. It's either they remember the music or the heavy bass sounds like your heart beat, which they hear too.
Reply:I think they do :)... They hear mommy and daddy's voice and remember that (atleast i've heard :) )...but yes i believe they do, and the way it sounds with your little one he sounds like he remembers and its what soothes him...
Reply:yes, it's comforting, it reminds him of being in your womb .... which is the most comfortable place.





but, hip hop? can i convince you to change that? lol
