Hip Hop, Rap, and R&B?

I wanna know something. Why is everyone blaming hip hop music in general, for America's problems, stop blaming music for America's problems these days, and start blaming the people for all these problems, yeah, SOME, hip hop music glorifies, sex, money, and drugs, but not all music, for instance, like Kanye West, and Common they talk about things that matter in society, and if the music is bad, THEN DON'T LISTEN TO IT. People are always saying, 'Its the music's fault." Not one person can make you listen to hip hop music, if its so bad, and making you do bad things, then do not listen to it, thats all I'm saying. DOES ANYONE AGREE WITH ME! Cuz I'm tired of hearing people say that. OH and I'm really tired of people saying they HATE RAP MUSIC. If you hate it so much then don't listen to it, that will solve all the problems, just leave the people who does like it alone, and listen to ur ROCK%26amp; and POP music. I was just really wondering does anyone feel the same way or is it just me.

Reply:I agree completely and would like to add that rap music is not the only genre of music that glorifies those things. the stuff rap music talks about is life. people were havin sex and doin all the same freaky stuff b4 rap music hit the airwaves, people shootin n killin long before rap music. and drugs were invented by WHITE scientists...WHOS TA BLAME NOW???? 2nd rock music talks about the same things, sex, money, drug. half your rock and pop stars on crack heads and suicidal. all the rappers do is have sex and smoke a lil weed. Reply:i agree with you fully. You can't blame an entire genre of music for people's behavior. What erks me the most are parents who blame their kids' behavior on the music they listen to. Parents, learn to discipline your kids, seriously. And kids, stop trying to act like the music is making you do something stupid.
