Hip hop ????????????

The music has changed, do you think it is better today or did you like the older generation of music

Hip hop ????????????
I def. think it has changed, but a lot for the better! It's just all music has changed no matter which way you look at it. Everything has changed, different generation, different people. Of course things are going to change. Are we the same way our parents were? No, cause everything has changed. So of course the music is going to change too! Hip hop is still good now, it's all about the beats these days! It's all about if you can dance to it!!!
Reply:The older by far...Hip Hop today has gotten so pathetic, there is no message, its not deep, and its lost its story telling of life wether good or bad. Its become a market music to attract fake rappers and mainstream music listeners. Someone please bring old hip hop back!
Reply:I liked the music so much better in the late 90s.
Reply:I like some of the new stuff, but I am a huge fan of the "old school."
Reply:hip hop to me is todays name for not even close to rap......i liked the 90's rap/hip hop when rappers generally looked dirty, from a dirty not much money hood,, then when they talked of grindin' on the block i could believe it. now it's not worth a damn except those artists that have been out there for that long...the ones that have had it and still do so showin' what they have is not needed
Reply:I like old school, but the reason it has changed is because the industry is pushin artists to put this garbage out (i call it bubble gum rap) n people r buyin it. Its a shame cuz there r talented MCs out there but they don't get any radio time or recognetion cuz the industry thinks that it'll hurt their pockets. The thing is hip hop has become a business instead of a form of expression, a way to get the truth out about what is really goin on in a young man or woman's head and what they we are goin through. ITS A SHAME, WE NEED A REVOLUTION AND I AM GONNA LEAD IT.
