It's time to fight all radio stations who claim Hip-Hop, but do not play hip hop in a balance. Play old school with new school to keep a balance of true school. Play all aspects of Hip-Hop culture. That means play so-called "commercial", "underground", "street/gansta rap", and "concious rap" equally. We are a community of different cultures, lifestyles, and conciousness. Stop playing just one style of rap music and claiming to be the home of Hip-Hop.

preach it brother. commercial radio stations in general play poser rap, and not enough of the real **** or the old skool hip hop. they play what's hot with the people to keep the register ringin, but what real fans of the music wanna hear is true hip hop. the way it used to be and still is in the underground. i agree with you fully. save the true skool.

Reply:A lot of people turned off the radio ages ago...unfortunately it's not helping...yet...the only time I ever turn mine on is for the local mixtape show, (which by the way is the longest running over the air mixtape show in the nation)
