Kanye has good Material, the Roots, Common, Lupe Fiasco. As long as you stray away from those dumb hits you hear on the radio your good. Common - The People, Kanye West - Good Life, Lupe Fiasco - SuperStar or Kick Push. The roots - The Next Movement. Those are pop like and have a damn good rhythm.
