Hip Hop is helping to destroy more Black men than the war.?

Why do we allow Hip Hop to still glorify crime and lewdness? Is rap only about the worst scenarios in the Afro-American community? It certainly did not start that way. It was mostly positive at first. Along with Whites, Latino, Asian and Middle Eastern, drug traffickers bringing drugs to the black community to sell for them. Hip Hop still glorifies a fictitious life style to young impressionable ignorant black males. Continuing with the 80’s Government’s plan to destroy afro-American males we will continue to be imprisoned and killed behind a false lifestyle that Satan has pushed on us by wicked, dirty, evil men of other nationalities. . No they don’t make us sell it but provide it for us to sell aided by Hip Hop. Let’s get the *%^#@’s that brings the drugs to our neighborhoods. Afro-American roots is not that of drugs or vile scenarios though our music, which has a great rich positive heritage. Let’s get past that age in America. Stop supporting Hip Hop in its present form.

Psalms 12:8 The wicked walk on every side, when the vilest men are exalted.

Hip Hop is helping to destroy more Black men than the war.?
I choose not to follow Hip-Hop and all of the other music styles, including top 40, r%26amp;b and all of the other styles that are not Christian/Inspirational.

It is clear that Secular music is designed to break down everyone that follows it.

I LOVE HIPHOP%26amp; RAP
Reply:I totaly agree with you.
Reply:Hey lets blame everything on rap/hip-hop and video games again, great idea, so original!!!

Ever look to see what family life they came from that may have led to that, and they just happen to listen to that? Rock/Screamo talks about killing yourself/others many a times, does that mean everyone who listens to that is comitting suicide/homicide?
Reply:*** da bullshythttp://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;...
Reply:I have listened to the lyrics and they mostly are not positive. B's Hoe’s, killing, murder, is not music it's Bull. Hip Hop is a cheap, crappie way of trying to ruin our music heritage and make our fellow young men suffer for some people’s sick and sadistic idea of entertainment. Hip Hop is Afro- American music at its worst.

Hip Hop is not here to stay in the name of Jesus; nor is the continued destruction of our youth aided by it. I pray a curse on it every day. I’m am ready for a different black experience in America.
Reply:I was just wondering why everyone is always on hip-hop, there is other music out there that is saying the same thing hip-hop is, come on! music can't make a person do anything, all it does is let you know what is really happening out there, and if you listen good, hip-hop tells you that you can get out the HOOD or any other place you want to get out of... with work, talent, skills,etc......... I Love hip-hop, if people would just sit back and listen and not judge so much you would understand, that it is great music!
Reply:I see Hip-Hop and Rap as a depiction of a certain aspect of reality, rather than as an influence over it. In order to understand some music, or some 'wave' you need to see what it came from, what were its causes. In the beginning HipHop was a reaction of the poverty, a revolt against the social issues that are so much related to poverty. Now, as the genre became more successful, it represents these once poor (sometimes non-educated) people rising up. All they say now is: 'look where I've been and look what I've become, I was poor and now I can live beyond my dreams, so you can do that as well'. They like big cars and lots of women, and gold teeth, because that represents everything they know about living well (think about lack of education here). Indeed, the model they present is destructive, in the sense that it gives superficial targets in living, but when you see that your Dad can't get a job and when your heart breaks seeing your mother starting to drink because she can't cope with all her trouble, it is easy to understand why many young kids that skip school - nobody would care about them anyway - (and i'm not necessarily referring to Black kids here) start looking up at all those people flashing their riches on TV.

I used many many words here, but, as I see it, saying that Hip Hop destroys people is just like saying that Marilyn Manson is guilty for the Columbine massacre. It means that something is missing here, and turns us to think shallow.
Reply:What? It seems to me that if "they", whether that be whites, Asians, or African Americans, chose to sell drugs and create self defying music that depicts their culture as being barbaric and ignorant, than that's their problem. Since I am a woman, I feel that women who are strippers and prostitutes contaminate the popular opinion about my gender. And I don't appreciate it, however, you can't chose for someone. Everyone has to make their own choices. Yes, pray for them, pray for our culture, but don't try to force people to see things your way. You know Jesus never 'berated' the average sinner, He loved on them. It was the religious leaders that taught wrong beliefs and thought they were better than everyone that Jesus 'berated'. Just love people and try to show them a better way.
Reply:yea hip-hop!!!.... not poverty, jealousy, envy, denial of the American dream. If people stop rapping, then all will be well in the African-American community. We will all hold hands and sing songs of peace when hip-hop is destroyed. UHH....OK!!

BTW....What color is the sky in your world??
Reply:hip hop and crap I mean rap support drugs, violence and underage sex They need to be abolished, Yeah I know this is gonna piss a lot of people off, The truth works that way
Reply:To a certain extent i agree with you but they are some people like myself who listen to hip hop but don't take drugs (never really seen any just on t.v), I don't sleep around and would never encourage it and no evil thoughts go through my head. Some people just need to learn the difference between reality and fiction.
Reply:well..It seems that bashing hip hop is helping destroy critial work hours...give it up...
Reply:I think your wrong in your "opinion"

Why is the music gloryfying the criminal way. Stop and think about it.......it's the other way around, The people are brought up in that life style (as they say da hood) which maybe they have no choice to get out of it. sometimes they describe what their life was like in these hard times, not always say do it it's cool.

It maybe send out the wrong impression to a small amount of the younger generations, like you.

As for boycotting that music, why?

just becaus it has criminal lyrics.....ok how about JJ Cale, Buck Cherry the beatles all of them have sung a song about drugs, so it's not a defined group that (as you put it) gloryfy crime, I could go on with the names of bands or singers that seem to advocate the lifestle of drugs like babyshambles, ozzy osbourne......

so hip hop is not destroying the black community, it's the community it's self that is doing it.

If you have no will to get yourself out of it, you never will!
Reply:Excuse me miss but the music you see on t.v and the radio by so called rappers is pop. See in hip hop and rap you try and be creative and unique. While in pop you try and aim for being the biggest attention whore. Now listen to some Immortal Technique, Rugged Man, Akir, Ill Bill, and even Jedi Mind Tricks then claim that hip hop is trash.

By the way also look up ClearWire and see why that the real hip hop and rap is not on our radios. While your at it look up House Negroes (Malcolm X speech) and then watch a 50 Cent music Video.
Reply:HIP HOP IS HERE TO STAY! Do you actually listen to the lyrics? My guess is NO. Most Hip Hop singers are talking about their everyday life. how they were but now no longer. not all hip hopsters are in the NEGATIVE LIGHT. Would you say that about heavy metal? what about rock and so forth? think about it. It's people like you that put Hip Hop down and do not know what it stands for. Although i listen to jazz and gospel mostly HIP HOP IS HERE TO STAY........GET USED TO IT!
Reply:I agree totally. When will they realize the music they listen to, does affect they way they live and think.....The death rate among black men in this nation is sickening. When will it stop?
Reply:there is plenty of good hip hop out there it's just pushed underground. hip hop to me and many others is dead it no longer has the same self expression it once had and all it is now is people milking the same gimick over and over. they're doing whatever makes them money if the people who bought the records focused on more positive stuff then everyone would jump on that bandwagon so they could get a peace of the pie i still love hip hop but will i can't stand the commercial stuff everybody sounds the same. most music styles talk about debauchery and criminal acts or sex. except for your religious artist. and i am tired of people acting like all music is positive except for rap. but people are responsible for themselves if you want to emulate what you hear be prepared for the consequences.
Reply:I missed the question.

Oprah and Cosby are pretty great.
Reply:don't blame hip hop, blame the lack of parenting.......

Why hip hop people claim hip hop has great beats, haven't they heard other music?

Jazz, funk..conga music in salsa or whatever, whatever..even disco has better beats. Why do they say that hip hop/rap has good beats. I've heard hip hop enough cause they always put it at work, and it's just either very basic beats...that they change by making them fast or whatever or making them loud.. but there's nothing original or cool about them.

Then what do they mean by rap/hip hop having good beats? And by the way i'm a musician/musical person who likes to listen to how things sound and i study them. Everyday having heard hip hop and rap , i dont' see why these beats are so great?? They just pretty lame and most of the times they don't change throughout the song. it's just repetitive. In other musics they use cymbals or some kind of filling for transitions.

Why hip hop people claim hip hop has great beats, haven't they heard other music?
You have alot of fools who have not studied music trying to make music. Obviously, it will turn out bad. Like I asked a rapper the other day "what 3 notes make up a c chord?". He couldn't tell me this basic chord. These fools are all about the cash and don't care about the art, regardless of what they say.

Think about the Puff Daddy performance of "Come with Me" that featured Jimmy Page (Led Zeppelin) on guitar. Jimmy Page and the band accompanying him was about a 9. Puff Daddy's rapping was about a 6, and even though he was trying hard at the end you could tell he was out of place with real musicians. Dat when he decided to go into fashion.
Reply:Hip Hop does have some great beats and some amazing lyrics but at this day and age, it's hard to come by since they are almost scarcely heard over this garbage "radio rap" that's going around today. Everyone is in it for the money, and not for the art. And the people who just say "yoo this beat is sikk, check this out mann" are just followers of the herd really. They know nothing about rap, since they just started listening to the materialist crap thats out there.
Reply:A lot of the hip-hop beats i listen to are derived from jazz, funk, and soul music so they have a lot of similarities. I think i like hiphop more than these types of music is the lyrics. I like singing, but i like (good) rapping more.
Reply:I believe hip hop exist for a reason. The reason is a lot of people like it, it defines their character and their personality. Even though I do not like a lot of the hip hop music at all and I agree with every single word you say, I still think they exist to serve a certain population who love that music. By listening to what a person is listening, it is very easy for you to find out what are they thinking in their head. Since Hip Hop is always simple, loud and sometimes come with violence and sexual words, I believe those who listen to it must posses the same characteristics in their mind. I personally do not find that music suits me very well, because I cannot stand loud monotonic noises that repeats nothing but crazy ideas. However, I believe some people find other music too complicated, so we should respect their music and buy some ear plugs.
Reply:Maybe because people like what they like?
Reply:Well, Hip-Hop can have some great beats, but most of them are derived from other parts of music, which were already made. The fact of the matter is, the stuff you're listening is probably mainstream rap, which has lost its quality and is bland. Hip-hop has some AWESOME beats, but I believe you're looking in the wrong places.

Listen to underground stuff.
Reply:thats ******* it! im sick of all you stupid idiots out there who always say hip hip is so bad and the beats are bad or whatever! no matter what we say to defend it, you always find a way to put hip hop/rap down! WHY!?!?!?!?!? we NEVER criticise your music, or atleast not NEARLY as public as you do! WHY CAN'T WE BOTH HAVE OUR OWN STYLES OF MUSIC!!!!!!!!!! you can have your fancy classic whatever, and we'll have our hip hop/rap. you guys just can't except the fact that young people don't like what you used to listen to...it's not fair at all! so, in answer to your question, hip hop does have good beats, you just have to have the right ears. and seriosuly man, i would QUIT your job, seeing as if you were a "musical person" you would have open ears to ALL music. not just certain types. you're still allowed to have a favourite type, as mine is hip hop/rap, but you don't have to put down other types of music. end of discussion!
Reply:Hip hop is ****
Reply:You don't like it cause your lame!!!!!!!!!and boring!!
Reply:Some people consider a heavy and clear and easy to follow beat to be a good beat.

However, if you are a fan of intricate, complex, polyrhythmic beats, you should check out some Cuban salsa (if you haven't already) it takes salsa another step forward in terms of rhythms and their complexity including multiple changes in rhythm patterns through a single songs. I love it!

Here are some links to some videos with percussion that you might find interesting. This is all live amatuer recording but the sound quality should be good enough that you can see what I'm talking about.

Issac Delgado circa 1996 - There's a whole series of videos from this concert which are a must-see for percussionists. it is fantastic!!!!

OK whose responsible for this HIP HOP mess????

YO! We need to all band together and figure what we’re going to do about this Hip Hop mess we’re in. I am aching really bad for some REAL HIP HOP! What the South has done to Hip Hop has been a real disappointment. What can we (the people) do to get us out of the rut we’re in?? I know some of you are laughing but I’m serious as a heart attack mayne! Who and how can we switch the focus back on more “conscience” style Hip Hop? I know we got some coo cats like Common, The Roots, Kanye etc.. who are tryin to make a difference and I fully support them all, but we need more focus on them instead of all this AY BAY BAY and Lil Wayne bull s***. Hip Hop is turning to garbage because of the South. How can we get Hip Hop out of this mess and get back to basics??? Cause this s*** I hear on the radio gots to go!!! We can’t afford to have Hip Hop go out like this! For REAL. Hip Hop is the most influential and universal genre in the world, and this is all we can come up with????

OK whose responsible for this HIP HOP mess????
First of all, putting the blame on anyone isn't gonna help one bit unless you plan on taking action...which you probably won't.

Second, there is still "conscious hip-hop". So what if it's not on the radio? F**k the radio.

Third, all the wack music isn't coming from the south.

To answer your question, the blame would be the consumers and the record label execs. The consumers because they're the ones supporting the "movement" and buying into the hype. The record execs because they're the ones shining the light on these wack artists. Record execs have a mindset that goes something like "if it ain't broke, don't fix it". That means it's gonna be this way until the consumers get tired of hearing the crap they hear.

Like I said before, just sort out what you like from what you don't like, and stop complaining...unless you plan on taking action of course.
Reply:I totally hear where you’re coming from G Money. It really is a mess. I do however agree with Benovolence, we have to just sort out what we like, apart from what we don’t like. I peronsally think today’s Rap is crap, but I’m not offended by it, nor am I loosing sleep over it because I don’t listen to it. That “AY BAY BAY” stuff doesn’t speak to my generation (Thank God!) so I have nothing to worry about. I don’t listen to anything after about 96”, every now and then there are a few exceptions, like Common, for example (I own and LOVE his CD), or the Roots, some Outkast etc... but you’ll never catch me listening to Lil Wayne! I do understand your frustration though. It’s a shame how such a brilliant culture and genre has to, as you put it, go out like this. You listen to what we had back in the day- ranging from KRS-1 to Rakim to LL to Tupac, Nas, Outkast, A Tribe called Quest, Cypress Hill etc, etc.. And you turn on the radio today and you’re like where the hell did we go wrong??? I am just waiting for something magical to happen, which will change the way Hip Hop is doing things these days. It would be nice to turn on the radio and hear something decent for a change. But like Benovolence says, Fugg the radio.
Reply:You can put the blame on Puff Daddy.
Reply:We the people can't do anything because too many artists are catering their music for the radio because major record labels tell them to or their album won't sell. That's why now-a-days the only music to go with is artists signed to independent deals
Reply:okay, i do understand why you are frustrated. well there is a difference between Rap and Hip hop. SOME people think that they are the same when they are not. now im a deep hip hop lover, and its my first love. but as others are thinking, i cannot understand why you are frustrated. TO ME the difference between Rap and Hip hop, is that hip hop has creativity. Rap doesnt. all the music you hear on the radio is rap. even thought the south is in control of it, we cannot knock their hustle. see Hip hop to me talked of many things, MC's in hip hop stand out. hip hop talked about the hood, but @ one point they spoke of social awareness. rap lacks creative juices. Rap shows ME that there is consistency. example: ( the lil wayne, T.I.'s, the young jeezy's.)listening to either of these dudes and hearing no creativity. they all talk the same thing. drugs, glorifing the hood, how much money, jewels, etc. because there isnt creativity in rap and now that the south has dominated it, there has been whack rappers in every coast. from the west, to the east, etc. not all rap is supposed to be the same. north, south, east, west and midwest all have different styles. even though i dont like the way rap is going today, i just shy away from it. dont listen to the radio, and as others stated it does have to do with the people. the record companies are in the "if it aint broke, dont fix it" phase. the record companies at the end of the day are putting out the music for profit. and one day the south isnt going to control it and the rap movement passes on. so yo will have to just move away from it, listen to what you believe hip hop is.

Hip Hop is dead . . . it's been murdered . . . by current "rap stars"?

Akon . . . T-Pain . . . Shop Boyz . . . D4L . . . Pretty Ricky . . . etc. etc. etc. etc. all these people have one thing in common . . . they all teamed up to murder Hip Hop. It kills me to listen to the radio and hear mutha****** singin their rap songs about clubs and bartenders or how they party. What happened?!?!?!? Is Hip Hop really a dance club now? The music they produce is not Hip Hop, it's pop music.

Then I heard this track called "Put me in the pocket" and I promise it made me want to run up to the radio station and . . .

Let me know what yall think . . .are artists like these responsible for murderin hip hop?

Hip Hop is dead . . . it's been murdered . . . by current "rap stars"?
yes. sadly i have to agree with you. the culture of hip hop has been diluted by many of these artists. Not only are their lyrics and 'flow' ridiculously redundant, it fails to exemplify many aspects of hiphop/rap. It's people like these that really bring a bad name to hiphop. I wish it were like the old days... where nas, jayz, game, big, or eminem...
Reply:Dj Premier, The Roots, and Dilated Peoples%26lt;- Seem like the only real hip hop left..
Reply:LOL, man thats funny. When I tell people who I dont know that I like hip hop, then the stuff like you just listed comes on the radio, I get embarrased. When I say hip hop, this is not what Im talking about, but people have taken the term hip hop and "pimped it out". Now it looks like theres a bunch of clowns in hip hop. The other stuff should be called HIP-POP.
Reply:na i dont think so, i agree tho they can do better, and have done better, but murdered it?? com'on thats a lil extreme and obviously they didnt ppl r lisetening to them
Reply:i totally agree with you, many rap artist now lack substance in their lyricks. some just put together sentences together and rhyme. i think people just like the tracks being played and the rappers voices
Reply:yeah all these artists that you mentioned are just plain garbage and some people actually like this garbage and its sucks so bad and i can't understand how the artists are blowing up when i know damn well they are just gonna fall of fast.
Reply:i know it seems sad, but the **** i love and grew up with was corny new-age pop music BS rap at one point to my elders. but no way, this **** today is horrible.
Reply:!!!!!!!!! HIP HOP IS ALIVE AND KICKING !!!!!!!!!!W

Who ever wrote this question is stupid their are heaps of great rapper and coming and some old ones still around like Krs One with his new CD with Marley marl,Afu Ra,,Jeru the Damaja who's new Cd's about hit and is legend in my mind, you have Talib Kweli,Mos Def,Immortal Technique %26amp; the whole viper crew(Diabolic%26amp;Akir) who are all just starting out Chief Kamachi who i only learned about a short while ago he has good beats and some sick lyrics The Deceptikonz but hip hop is just going through a phase with all the new up and coming stars just starting to break into their. You will always have your fake mc's like 50 cent who only ryhmes with arh 50 arh bentley arh you know but if you where real into hip hop you would find the good mc's and weed out the crap rapper.to anyone who thinks hip hop is dead you totally wrong you just arnt looking in the right places
Reply:You can't just blame the artists. When record companies see someone that is popular and has a song that people like they try and find 20 more artists just like them. This stops creativity and variety. If people can dance to it it will make money. They see that and try to make all their artists make "club songs." They don't care about lyrics. New artists see this and think its they only way they will make money so they think its okay to write sons about their cars, clothes, and houses.
Reply:Yeah they all suck they just ride the real rappers sticks when a tite cd comes out they all jack the whole thing.Like this one fool said Patron and now how many times do I hear patron or in the club
Reply:The rappers are willing to say whatever to get paid. The music industry thinks that sex and drama sell better than just good music, so the pop music rappers play into the negative stereotypes. But it's not just their fault alone.

There are still plenty of true Hip Hop artists out there who make good music. You'll just never see it on BET/MTV or hear it on the radio. That's because the record labels want to sell a front, and if you don't go with the flow, or if you try to have a message, or aren't 'edgy' enough, or don't have what they call "street cred", then you're considered corny, and they won't sign you. (MIND YOU that the only 'hood' these people actually know is the one on their cars!)

Major labels don't look for talented artists. They look for gimmicks that they can market. That's why pop rappers don't last after thier single is played out. Example: Where are Dem Franchise Boyz now? I guess they didn't like you.
Reply:ill agree on everyone ecept AKON i think hes got talent and his songs are very creative
Reply:Mainstream so called hip-hop like you said is dying, but hip-hop as a whole is not so bad off. If you turn off your radio you can actually find some quality underground hip-hop that's thriving. Like I've been saying, hip-hop ain't dead its alive on the Internet
Reply:I hope it stays dead. Hip hop isn't music. No talent involved what so ever. Maybe I'll be like the Master and spam and talk about music I don't even like? He always spams in the pop- rock section.

Will hip hop always be about lip gloss and chicken noodle soup?

Hip hop has become the most stupidest genre of music. It used to be at its peak during the 80's and 90's with its controversial, meaningful, and deep lyrics. Artists and rappers had talent, and they put their heart and soul into their songs. Now hip hop music revolves arouns money, girls, and cars, and other stupid stuff. Seriously how much talent does it take to say "ay bay bay", or "my lip gloss is poppin", and "chicken noodle soup". This current hip hop is garbage, and most good hip hop artists are now underground, those are the people that should have the record deals. Not these idiots with no talent getting money off of stupid sh1t. Will this current hip hop ever recover, it's starting to seem like it won't.

Will hip hop always be about lip gloss and chicken noodle soup?
hahaha... i'm thinking the same.. enough said...
Reply:I agree. I think that eventually hiphop will swing back to its origin. Cause good hiphop is still happening its just gone underground and has become local. But when you think about it, hiphop started out underground and local in the late '70's in New York! So it will eventually get back to it, everything in life is cyclical.
Reply:I agree with you! Everyone I know puts me down for "dissin'" their favorite genre of music. It's only my opinion, but how much talent does it take to sing and write some of these songs? And yet, people make millions off of it.

This is why I only favor songs with STRONG effort put into them. I love Opera. When you consider people dedicate their whole lives to learn different languages and sing opera so magnificently, you really feel that your money is going to a good cause.

Other genres, such as Vocal and Rock 'N Roll, are satisfying, as well.
Reply:As long as 15 and 16 year old kids keep listening to this crap, record executives will keep pushing it out. I also don't know what the fascination with dancing around cars is either, quite strange really.

So, I will keep listening to A Tribe Called Quest, De La Soul, and Pharcyde and be grateful they didn't sell out to commercialism before making great music

Who do you believe is true hip hop?

Im talking HIP HOP. Not this stuff you here on the radio. In my opinion i would have to say, Talib Kweli, Common, Mos Def, Jurrasic 5, Nas. Who else do you believe belongs on this list? Or who do you think should be taken off? And can you tell me why what you here on your normal "hip hop" radio station is whats called hip hop? I believe that is rap.If you have a Young in your name, your not hip hop. If all you mainly rap about is violent rhymes, degrading women, or bragging about how rich you are then you are not hip hop.So many rappers now days claim to be bringing hip hop back. When Nas said hip hop is dead, Lil Wayne took offense to that claiming he was bringing it back. Lil Wayne is not hip hop either. Now dont get me wrong, i do listen to these rappers who claim to be hip hop, but i listen for entertainment or to hear what they have to say.

So i would like to hear your comments on this.

Who do you believe is true hip hop?
Hands down the ones you listed with the exception of Jurassic 5 because I have not heard their music are HIP HOP. What they say is so prolific. And I have to put TUPAC in there. HE had a lot to say and it is just a shame that he was cut short, In his prime.
Reply:I would add Bone Thugs N Harmony to the list, they changed the game they also keep it real not just rappin bout i got this many chains, money, women etc. they rap about daily things that are happening to them or people they knew....by changing the game u got people trying to sound like em rap as fast as them etc. Also 2Pac what can I say bout 'Pac he was the greatest in my point of view!!!

sure, not all these rappers and mc's have the best message but they do have skill. I'm beginning to get very tired hearing how good Lil Wayne or Ludacris is. They're overrated. I like Jurassic 5 too. Although they're somewhat mainstream, they have good talent. That's what I want. Haven't heard the radio in along time(that's very good thing) but every now and then I hear someone with loud music and some fake a s s rappers who claim to be this and that. It's BOOORING. Reason why you don't hear other rappers on the radio station is because the big record labels love the radio. Brings in cash. Think about it. If you ever heard Immortal Technique on the radio then they must have tried to censor his views. Everyone has they're own perspective of what true hip-hop is. I'd just say it's staying true to old school school hip-hop, doing it for love of hip-hop, or doing it to expose something. Hop-hop is a movement, don't forget that.
Reply:I completely agree with you. Listening to the radio sickens me sometimes because its full of played out garbage. Your list is pretty decent but I would add Styles P, Lupe Fiasco, Papoose and Beanie Sigel to make it complete. Lyrically Lupe is a monster. You've got some really good insight hip hop-wise. Its good to see someone out there actually knows what they are talking about.

This guy El-p runs the Definitive jux label in NYC. He raps, produces and runs the label, thats talent right thier. his new cd i'll sleep when your dead is pretty dope. Eyedea and abilities are dope too thier on Rhymesayers. Abilities is the dj and he's is fan ******* tastic. Eyedea is the mc and one of the best battle rappers out thier, and thats no joke. go on Youtube and type in Eyedea and Slug on the morning show. they do this tight back and forth freestyle thats dope. but yea those two crews got alot of good artist on thier labels. worth checking out. o yeah also Eyedea won the blaze battles on HBO and was offered a 6 figure deal by puff daddy, which turned down with a middle finger. Bob made a list of some REAL EMCEES,who at some point in their career impressed bob with RAW SKILLS, some thing pop ******* ont he radio today cannot even dream about having.

Its funny you bring up lil wayne, lil wayne makes bob so angry that ****** glorifys gang violence, something bob cannot stand and his "freestyles" arnt even ******* freestyles, they are rehearsed and use lines from his god damn albums or he bites other peoples lines.

Lil wayne is bob's definition of a typical pop ******, claims to be the best, acts like they in the hip hop scene, fan base made up entirely of white people and little kids, acts like they in a gang, says lines from albums then calls it a freestyle and your typical pop retard lyrics.
