Oh wow....I have no idea why people think they have to ONLY listen to the Hip Hop Artist I listed in my last question...there's a bunch of REAL Hip Hop Artists TODAY that are Infinite times better then Soulja Boy or LiL Wanye......and I know if I name some they'll just say..."Why do we have to listen to them ? You think because we don't listen to they that we don't know what real Hip Hop is?"
I'm just saying don't label "Hot Club Sh-t" as Hip Hop all because your friends ask you "Hey..did you hear that new song on the radio by (artist's name)? It's Hot!!!!"
OR
"Oooooh 104 %26amp; Park is playing that video everyday at #2 on the countdown...that means I must love it %26amp; play it in my car all the time!!!"
OR
"I hear all the girlies love that song in the club %26amp; it makes them dance...that's my song now yo! I'm gonna bump that in my car %26amp; get all the girls"
I'm saying just listen to what you like...not what's in other people's opinion...if so you just might be on the bandwagon for fakeness...
So-Called Hip Hop Fans DON'T KNOW (continue...)......?
I love you!!!!!!!!! LOL.
Welcome to RHH section!
Im glad to see another person
who knows GOOD music.
but like hnic said... you don't have to worry about what
other people listen to coz that's their prerogative.
just keep listening to you fav. mc %26amp; support his albums.
toodles.
Reply:Lemme give you a piece of advice...Come on here after 6 pm...there are some "real hip hop" conversations on here... And you should start posting up ish about people you like... school some of these people since know so much...Im pretty confident in my knowledge of hip hop...I can give you some pretty decent answers...but coming on here and randomly ranting seems a bit overboard...
Reply:TUPAC RULES!
Reply:it's 106 and park not 104 lol
i agree with you... but still its 106 and park
if i hear t-pain, akon, or soulja boy one more time im gonna sh!t on his microphone
Reply:like i said in the last thread.....Stop worrying about what the next person on Y!A is listening to and just do you..if thats what someone likes, fine..what gives you the right to knock what someone listens to? are u mad cuz they dont talk about your favorite artist?
Reply:Most of the time people will listen to the top song from their favorite Genre because they like it.... I usually listen to Hiphop/RnB/Rap.... but I liked tht song Apologize by Timbaland about a month before it suddenly became hot. And now many like that song. People listen and then say whether like that song. Don't judge "fakeness" upon others... I mean... Get Low by Lil Jon makes one dance... Walk It Out by dj Unk... I thought had a good beat but a lame song.. but that is a very good example of the fakeness that others put out ther... like "yeeee walk it out... north side walk it out... " lame song... in my opinion.. others get sucked in that.. hate to say it.. african american pop... but its chill... I will say the word BITTCHHH until genesists dont exist... sooo F Yo Couch..
Reply:I feel your pain to me club music isn't hip-hop it has no substance no message even gangster rap has a message whether it's how to survive in the streets or how to flip coke. But what message does club music have none but I don't knock it.If you like it I love it.
Reply:Have you never heard of the expression "different strokes for different folks" so the hip hop you might enjoy might be complete nonsense to someone else and vise verse.Hip Hop is about expressing yourself.
p.s..... R .I. P Tupac %26amp; Biggie
Reply:if youre saying to listen to what you like, then let them listen to it. dont judge them, if they like the club bangers, then so be it. besides, when im dancing with my girl im not worried about the message it conveys, im just concerned if my girl likes the song and wants to dance to it.
Reply:Of course Tupac Rules...Anyways, I listen to what I listen to and that's how it is. It may be real hip-hop it may not. I don't listen to complete garbage (refuse to state names of such crappy artists) who talk about stuff that never happened to them. I mean yeah stuff can be hot but soemtimes it is just plain whatever, indutsry generated.Example: What happened to whoever sings promise ring?
Reply:I listen to songs I think are hot. I dont care about whats on TV or whats on top of the charts. Mostly if their on top, there usually good. (But thats rare in hip hop right now.)
Reply:We all have different types of music that we listen to. While some people listen to music that has just came out i prefer to listen to older hip-hop music. So just do you and " f " what any one else has to say.
